cars at Magneticon 2018
We were lucky enough to have two cars at the first MagnetiCon 2016. Thanks to Ryan Blackwood who brought down his 1967 Chevy Impala "Huntress" seen in the TV Series Supernatural and Sam Costanzo who brought down his Ford Falcon Mad Max Yellow Interceptor. We will have both of these cars back again as well as many more. Once we have confirmed these we will add to the list. Keep watching this space.
ryan blackwood's huntress
Named after Ryan's son, Hunter, who he is restoring the Impala for. Beautiful, original example of one of the few surviving Oz factory delivered 1967 Impala's. Ryan will not be taking the interior back to Supernatural show standards as it's just too damn pretty as it is and he want to keep the Australia history alive in this car.
sam costanzo's interceptor
Sam made quiet a scene at MagnetiCon 2016 with his arrival. That classic siren blaring from the opening scene were Max is chasing the Night Rider. Blue and Red lights flashing everyone knew he was here. That striking yellow, red and blue paint job looked fantastic.
liz buckeridge bumblebee
Liz turns heads when ever she ventures out in Mackay. They bought the car five years ago, it was the demo at Perfomax in Gympie and has been the pace car at the V8’s on the Gold Coast in 2010, and the medic car at Bathurst the same year! Liz does a lots of formals, proms and Weddings in the Mackay Area.
Wayne Jones's bandit one
Wayne's pride and joy is his 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am made famous in the movie Smokey and the Bandit with Burt Reynolds and Sally Field. Wayne's car is seen at many car shows in North Queensland and we are pleased to have him at MagnetiCon.
